change is good....

I still want to have affordable jewelry for my customers but with the price of silver changing daily and going up and up I have had to rethink some of my pieces. Over the past year or so I have been slowly adding more color to my pieces by using different metals with the silver and semi precious stones that I have used for years. Mixing the metals along with adding texture and dimension to the copper, brass and silver is not only fun but I really like the results I am getting! Sometimes when you are forced to make a change it all ends up good in the end!

Love this!

I thought it would be fun every once in a while to post some images of some of the amazing jewelery that I happen across while surfing the web. Today I came across this necklace. It is made from steel and 18kt gold and is by jewelry artist Donna D Aquino. I love the mixing of non traditional materials with precious metal. Check out some of her other work on her website too. Its amazing!

Adding new pieces to collections...

I have been quite the busy bee this past week. I have been a non stop jewelry factory pumping out jewelry for my show this weekend. I have been stocking up on my best selling items and adding a few new pieces to the mix. Here are a few pics of what's new (leave me a comment and let me know what you think). The top 2 pieces are new items for my grapevine collection and the 3rd image is new to my rose collection... you have to come see me at show to see the rest!

The Festival of Fine Craft is this weekend at Wheaton Village in Millville, NJ. It's a great show and you should really check it out. All of the work exhibited there is top quality and it takes place in a great setting. Hope to see you there!
